Modern AI and the possibility of an AI hub downtown in Oslo: The Why and the What
13.08.2025 kl. 14:00 - 14:45
Kunstig Intelligens-teltet (Kirkebakken 19)
Due to the rapid integration of advanced AI and IT across the Nordic countries and their broad and fast impact in all sectors of the Nordic society, the development of modern AI - as a big river - demands for the coordination of several small streams.
In this presentation, first, we will explain what the small streams are in the context of assessing the trustworthiness of AI algorithms. Second, we will explain that, while the different streams have been addressed separately in AI research, only an interdisciplinary approach merging all of them into a large river will enable a proper assessment and development of Trustworthy AI algorithms.
Finally, we will share a vision how such an interdisciplinary activity could be implemented downtown in Oslo!
Introduction by Professor Pedro Lind, Kristiania University of Applied Sciences.
Panel discussion with guests afterwards, and Q&A with the audience.
